Grading Scale

Grading Scale & corresponding grade point averages
for standard courses at all levels.

A:  90-100 [4.0] B:  80-89 [3.0] C:  70-79 [2.0] D:  60-69 [1.0] F:  Below 60[0.0]

Grading Scale & corresponding grade point averages
for all Pre-AP courses at AMS & AHS.

A:  90-100 [4.0] B:  80-89 [3.0] C:  70-79 [2.0] D:  65-71 [1.0] F:  0-64 [0.0]

Grading Scale & corresponding grade point averages
for all Advanced Placement - AP courses at AMS & AHS.

A:  90-100 [5.0] B:  80-89 [4.0] C:  70-79 [3.0] D:  65-71 [2.0] F:  0-64 [0.0]

Grades for student aide, athletics, drill team, cheerleading, weightlifting, etc., will be either PASS or FAIL. (Excluding AMS Weightlifting)

Students enrolled concurrently in one or more college or university courses are eligible for the honor roll if they are enrolled in at least three courses at Ardmore High School.

Honor Roll

Principals Honor Roll [A’s & B’s]

The Principals Honor Roll is for students who achieve A’s & B’s for a semester grade.  When computing grade point averages for the semester honor roll, students who have a “3.0” average and no grade lower than a “B” for the semester will be named to the Principals Honor Roll.

Superintendent’s Honor Roll [Straight A’s Only]

Those students who have a “4.0” or higher grade point average with no grade lower than an “A” will be named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.
